[Date updated after publication] Food Allergy Policy

Eight specific ingredients (eggs, milk, wheat, shrimp, crab, peanuts, buckwheat, and walnuts) are displayed using pictograms.
There is no obligation to label the 20 items that are equivalent to specified raw materials, and since it can be difficult to obtain accurate information from business partners, our hotel, as a general rule, only discloses information about the eight specified raw materials that are required to be labeled.
In our daily cooking operations, we handle foods and ingredients containing eight specific allergens, as well as other unlabeled allergens, and we use the same cooking utensils and cooking oils. Additionally, while we thoroughly wash our dishes and cooking utensils, there is a possibility that trace amounts of allergens may be mixed into the food depending on the kitchen environment. Therefore, please understand that our hotel is unable to provide food that is completely free of allergens.
When serving buffet dishes, the tongs and cutlery used are the same as those used to serve multiple dishes containing allergens. Please note that there may be cases where customers use the same tongs to pick up multiple dishes, which could result in contamination, or where foods containing allergens may be mixed with tongs and cutlery.
For guests who are concerned that allergens cannot be guaranteed to be removed, or who are worried about contamination from cooking utensils, etc., we may be forced to refuse to serve food, placing guest safety first. We may allow guests to bring in commercially available food that has not been cooked at home (for food hygiene reasons), but we ask that you also bring your own tableware (paper plates, etc.). (If you wish to bring in food, you will need to contact the hotel in advance.)
Please be sure to check the above before using the service, and the final decision is yours.
